Welcome to seeing the Nightmares! Personally, it doesn't make sense if Dohna were the one to describe them, so that's why I'm here.
How can they be crammed inside? Well, imagine Jake actually sleeping between his horrifying night shifts. And that's all I can give you.

This was based on that one Batman period where Joker sliced off his face and then did absolutely nothing for awhile until he came back and started trying to fit that rotting face of his back, even wearing it upside down as you can see here.
You can say it's a more twisted take on "Want to see my head come off," but personally I just liked the visual.
I forgot why I made his left arm do that. I designed this in March of 2022, way before I designed the KFNaF Nightmares. I'm just getting too forgetful for my age.
"there's something funny about a deadly bundle of spikes acting like goofy" is the only note I gave about Nightmare Acephalous. Perhaps so; the original design looks like a living antenna.
Yeah he looks absolutely deadly. No way to safely hug him. How unfortunate.
I'm sure he may have been inspired by something. Maybe that Tooth Child from Channel Zero? Probably not, I may just be loosely associating stuff...
As an aside note, the original designs on the right are promo images created by LFourteen (or FourteenL) for the Treasure Island Wiki. Do something with that info; follow her, give her money, whatever. She helped me get reference images for the KVA Gallery's FNaTI page so be happy for her that that page turned out so large.
"guess i can start adding those notes again like in my fnati drawings..."
Yes, Past Kluns, you really should do that, god.
According to the notes, Oswald's skin on his face has been ripped apart so much that its unrecognizable flesh is now hanging loosely on the sides of his head, meant to resemble the hair of Christ.
Sure that sounds gnarly enough. Jake's got quite the imagination.
He's based on Epic Mickey's Scrapper Mickey concept art and Vulture from Across the Spider-Verse.
Nightmare Suicide Mouse looks like he jumped right out of some sketchpaper. If you isolate the image you can even see the paper texturing on him.
If he worked in a 3D environment, I'd assume he'd be a bit transluscent as well to make his construction lines be visible from all angles.
People really liked this design, and I can imagine why. It's a quite fresh take on this guy, if I'm allowed to toot my own horn for a bit.
Well, 'a bit', I do it all the time actually. I was very happy to myself I was able to make the Menu.html act like Oblitus Casa's menu intro. That took some new .css coding I haven't used before on the Klunssite.
Nightmare Ortensia's already got a good thing going for her. Filled with eyes and spears daggered through her body. It's very cool.
This take goes in a more organic approach, her eyelids bulging out of her body to create an uneven bulbous creature.
I believe the popped eye on one of the spears was based on a shot from Final Destination? Though I can't pin-point which movie it was. Even less so when because I watched that scene on YouTube.
I actually designed her first. I think something like having her look like an indistinguishable multi-mouthed Muppet monster sparked me to create the other ones.
I drew her laying down at first and, when it got made fun of long enough, I drew her floating to create a haunting Death-like robe. That definitely got them seeing me eye-to-eye.
I admit this doesn't look like Photo-Negative Minnie at all, though you can spot that some of her design are still within her. Most importantly, the dark spots on her dress now having spread all across her body.
He's surprisingly based on three things: Ballface, Voyage to the Moon, and Clayface's ball attack from Arkham City. I didn't even connect the dots with DOOM's Cacodemon until someone pointed it out.
Someone also compared him to the Dirty Bubble.
Anyway, Nightmare The Face has long been made fun of for looking like a Raw Uncooked Meatball, so I doubled down on the resemblance to create this floating 5 foot ball that's puking everywhere he goes.
This is just the 1970s Mickey Mouse mascot costume but with some visible organs trying desperately to hang on.
You don't actually have to go out of your way to find reference pictures of gutted corpses, I promise the trauma ain't worth it. Just look at model figures, please. I'm not Neil Druckmann.
Was that all that could ever exist? Nah, can't be...
I can feel you're itching for more adventures.
Alright then.
